Capexes entered in Overyield have an associated fuel consumption rate (if it requires fuel), associated weight class (if it’s an implement), a depreciation rate, and unit cost, which all feed into your economic projections.
When a capex is attached to an operation within a crop template, its usage (measured in hours) is calculated for that task based on the task’s duration.
Capexes can be added or removed from operations with the + and x buttons, respectively.
Total usage across every operation is then calculated for every crop, and prorated across all crops for each capex. A breakdown of this usage / proration, along with links to relevant operations, can be viewed within the capex’s details.
Infrastructure and equipment data can be farm-specific, team-specific, or public, depending on where the data is created and stored.
