Farm Projects

Your home screen serves as your launch pad for accessing and creating new projects.

Projects fall into 3 buckets:

1. My Projects - farm designs you own, shared at your own discretion.
2. Shared with Me - farms designs shared with you by any Overyield user from any team.
3. Team Projects - farm designs that are accessible to all of your team members.

Creating a Farm

You can create unlimited projects in Overyield, as well as multiple incarnations of the same project.

1. To create a completely new farm design, click New Farm via the My Projects or the Team Projects page.

2. In the next window, enter your farm’s details:

   Farm name

Team

Start year

• Not necessarily the planting year, but rather the year all operations begin.

Farm address

• If no address, enter the longitude and latitude

Growing zone

• This selection will determine which public crop templates are available to your farm.

1. Click Create Farm to finalize your project settings.

   Note: Your project settings can be adjusted any time. To do so, select the home icon, select Project Settings, and edit your farm details as needed.

Creating a Farm Copy

“Copying” your farm creates an exact duplicate of your design and all its associated data, including any customized crop template data. The copy function allows you to create and compare unlimited permutations of the same design, enabling multi-scenario planning for your business.

To create a farm copy:

1. Enter the project you would like to copy via the home screen.
2. Inside the project, select the home icon in the upper righthand corner of the screen.
3. Click Project Settings in the dropdown menu.
